Svadhyay is a digital subscription service — there are no physical goods, so returns and replacements don't apply. This page explains how cancellations and refunds work.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel any time from Profile → Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then. After it ends, your account reverts to the Free plan; your library and history stay intact.
Free trial
Pro starts with a 7-day free trial. Cancel before the trial ends and you won't be charged. If you don't cancel, the plan renews at the price shown when you signed up.
Refunds
We don't pro-rate or refund partial periods. When you cancel, you retain access through the period you've already paid for, but we don't issue refunds for unused time within it.
If you were charged in error — a duplicate charge, or billing after a confirmed cancellation — email hello@svadhyay.app within 7 days and we'll make it right. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within 5–7 business days.
App Store & Google Play purchases
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, those purchases are governed by Apple's and Google's refund policies, not ours. Cancellations and refund requests for those subscriptions must be made through the respective store.
